Day 1 – Monday, November 17, 2025
Notifier Alarm Systems Training
Location: Blue Horizon Training Center, 3620 Horizon Dr., King of Prussia, Pa- Oliver Fire Protection & Security
Time: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EST

The session will focus on Notifier alarm system design, inspection, testing, and monitoring, presented by Dan Briner- Notifier Account Manager.

We’ve also invited Affiliated Monitoring to provide a segment on system monitoring and integration, and Alarm Service Manager Scott McCann & Alarm Service Lead Technician David Redpath (NICET, Simplex, JCI, Kidde & Notifier Certified Technicians)  will present various topics as well.

Day 1 Tentative Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM: Continental breakfast and registration

  • 8:30–9:15 AM: Introduction to Notifier Alarm Systems – Overview of system architecture and best practices

  • 9:30–11:15 AM: Installation, Testing & Inspection Techniques – Scott McCann- Field methods, troubleshooting, and NFPA 72/70 compliance

  • 11:15–12:00 PM: Lunch- Buffet Style

  • 12:00–12:45 PM: Central Station Monitoring & Integration – Affiliated Monitoring presentation and real-world examples

  • 12:45–1:30 PM: Elevator Recall Operations & Various Topics– David Redpath presentation followed by open Q&A

Day 2 – Tuesday, November 18, 2025
Sprinkler Systems & Fire Pump Training
Location: Local 692 Training Center – 14002 McNulty Road, Philadelphia, PA
Time: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST

This day will focus on sprinkler systems, fire pump testing, and a live burn demonstration led by Oliver’s NICET-certified sprinkler professionals, with support from our 692 Instructors.

Day 2 Tentative Schedule:

  • 7:00–8:00 AM: Arrival, Continental Breakfast, introductions

  • 8:30–9:15 AM: Sprinkler System Fundamentals & Applications – Overview of wet, dry, preaction, and deluge systems

  • 9:30–11:15 AM: Fire Pump Systems – Design, Installation & Testing – Including hands-on review of performance curves and acceptance testing

  • 11:15–12:00 PM: Lunch- Buffet Style

  • 12:00–2:00 PM: Live Burn Demonstration & System Performance Evaluation

  • 2:00–2:30 PM: Q&A and closing remarks
